Check the phones first
The astra app is iPhone only. Anyone else, Android and locked-down work phones included, joins from the link in the phone’s browser with a first name. Check what your team carries and try the link on one of those phones before the day.
Set it to the people who were there
A new capsule with other people starts out public, which puts it in the gallery inside astra once it develops. For work, switch it to “people who were there” on the host screen and it is visible to that room and nobody else. There is no feed, no followers and nothing posted anywhere on anyone’s behalf.
The host can remove anything
Whoever created the capsule can take down any photo, and it goes for everyone. Worth knowing before you put a camera in front of four hundred colleagues.
One price, paid once
Priced by headcount and charged once for the event. There is no per-seat licence and no subscription to renew, which is usually the difference between a card payment and a procurement conversation.

- Everyone scans the QR, joins with a first name and shoots, in the iPhone app or the browser.
- Nobody sees a single photo until it opens.
- In the morning every photo appears at once, and none of them expire.
